• King Arthur is a legendary British leader of the late 5th and early 6th centuries, who, according to medieval histories and romances, led the defence of Britain against Saxon invaders in the early 6th century. Arthur is a central figure in the legends making up the so-called Matter of Britain. Literature writer Geoffrey of Monmouth depicted Arthur as a king of Britain who defeated the Saxons and established an empire over Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Norway and Gaul.
• The Round Table is King Arthur's famed table in the Arthurian legend, around which he and his Knights congregate. Everyone who sits on the table has equal status. The table was first described in 1155 by Wace, who relied on previous depictions of Arthur's fabulous retinue. The symbolism of the Round Table developed over time; by the close of the 12th century it had come to represent the chivalric order associated with Arthur's court, the Knights of the Round Table.
• The names of the knights engraved on the base of the sculpture reads King Arthur, Sir Galahad, Sir Lancelot, Sir Kay, Sir Gawain, Sir Bors de Ganis Sir Geraint, Sir Lamorak, Sir Gareth and Sir Tristan. The iconic round table from the bird's eye view will show detailed celtic knotwork in two circular rings. Each knight and the king are uniquely sculpted and painted in two tone colors of faux metallic silver and gold.
• The knights are not removable from the base. This is an Ebros exclusive collection. Coke can and props placed next to the statue are not included with the listing. They are meant to provide size perspective of the item.
